How would you translate this word?

I would like some help from you guys. I want to know your suggestions about the translation of this term : the millenium bug (from English into Arabic). I found sth like : مشكل الألفية .دودة الألفية
Any comments or ideas:?:

I think that the suitable translation is "آفة الألفية" since it has been used by Arabic pages in the BBC and in many other translation sites... well, "مشكلة الألفية" is also used, but I think the first one is more expressive!

As far as the translation of the term is concerned, I found several translations. It depends as you know on the context. Here are two of my suggestions:

Millennium Bug: معضلة الحقبة الألفية

Millennium Bug: فيروس الحقبة الألفية

or just as both of you said before:

مشكلة الألفية أو آفة الألفية

I guess the words the most used in media are the most likely to be well understood. I think Ikram is right and I do support her suggestion, but urs are also right.
